A Creative Psychoeducational Group for Children

(Ages 8-11 )

Journey to Calm is a structured, evidence-informed group designed to support kids in managing symptoms of anxiety within a developmentally appropriate, peer-based setting.
Participants engage in a series of guided sessions that integrate movement, creativity, mindfulness, and both skill-building to promote self-regulation, emotional awareness, social skill development and coping capacity. Children have the opportunity to practice real-life strategies in a safe, supportive environment alongside peers experiencing similar challenges, helping to normalize anxiety and build social connection.

Each week, participants are encouraged to let their authentic selves and true colours shine as they develop greater capacity , resilience, and a sense of mastery —one journey to calm at a time.

This group will be facilitated by Emma Fogel Therapy Services and led by two of our Paediatric Associates, Samantha Beallor and Emily Young, with additional parent support sessions provided by our Practice Director, Emma Fogel.
